Teen Advisory Group (T.A.G.)
Join the Teen Advisory Group of the Bowling Green Public Library
The Bowling Green Public Library is pleased to announce the formation of our Teen Advisory Group. The purpose of TAG seeks to represent a positive teen force in the library and the community; promote teen reading, programming, and participation in the library; and promote a lifelong love for the library among teens.
All Middle School, Junior High, or Senior High students are eligible. Teens
must be willing to commit to attending TAG meetings, and be enthusiastic
supporters of the library.
Members of TAG will help plan teen programming and publicize the library and its programs through a variety of formats. They will also advise the
library about teen interests and volunteer at various library events.
Applications are accepted year-round, but teens should apply as soon as
possible in order to attend the first TAG meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday,
May 2 at the Bob Kirby Branch Library.
To become a part of the Teen Advisory Group, please contact Laura Johnson at 782-0252 or lauraj@bgpl.org.
