The Sugar Maple Branch Library opened its doors in 1997 in the Sugar Maple Square Shopping Center on Kentucky Highway 185. The large, open floor plan of this 4,500 square foot facility accommodates a children's reading and activity area adjacent to the children's materials. The library also houses a collection of non-fiction, adult fiction, audio-visual materials, magazines and newspapers. The hub of the library's Outreach Services Team, the branch is open six days a week, providing a full range of library services and children's programming, as well as computer workstations with Internet access, educational software, reference tools and Microsoft Office programs.
