100 Picture Books To Read Before Kindergarten is a list compiled for you by WCPL librarians. Each book on the list can be found at the library and relates in some way to basic concepts that can help children learn to read and write as well as prepare them for Kindergarten. The ALSC Great Web Sites Committee has added more recommended Web sites to the original Great Web Sites for Kids, an online resource containing hundreds of links to commendable Web sites for children.

Teachers who work with English as a Second Language learners will find ESL/ESOL/ELL/EFL reading/writing skill-building children's books, stories, activities, ideas, strategies to help PreK-3, 4-8, and 9-12 students learn to read.
