Certain taxpayers qualify for this online tax preparation and electronic filing service, provided through a partnership agreement between the IRS and the Free File Alliance, LLC. Requirements will be based on the following: Age; Adjusted Gross Income (AGI); Eligibility to file Form 1040EZ; Eligibility to claim the Earned Income Credit; State residency; and Active duty military status (if applicable).
