Sister Library Program
 Bowling Green Public Library has partnered with the city library of Kawanishi, Japan, in a literature exchange and resource sharing program. Each library provides the other with materials unique to their respective cultures for inclusion in the sister city's library.
Print materials received as gifts from Kawanishi can be found in the Japanese language materials section of the Main Library's non-fiction collection (Dewey Decimal number: 495.6).
